The location was perfect! Is not far from the lakes! Walking distance! The restaurant was really good, the food was great! The personnel were very helpful. They do give you a free bottle of wine if you are celebrating something such as your anniversary or birthday, which i think is super nice. The cabin we got it was perfect for two people. Enough space for two people, if you want to bring your own food and cook you can, since the kitchen has pretty much everything. I would recommend bringing your own knives and maybe water (I personally have a Pur water pitch to filter water) but other than that the cabin has pretty much everything you need for your stay.

The staff was incredible and I do mean incredible, before the whole sentence of what you need was out, the help was being given! We went to Mammoth to ski. We could have stayed closer but it was only a short distance to the ski resort and was peaceful and quiet where we stayed. There were no televisions but you could get one if you wish. The view from the cabin was wonderful, right next to the Twin Lakes and plenty of trails to hike on. Gas & wood burning fireplaces in the cabins. Dog friendly, plenty of those about. I can't say enough about the staff. If you have any concern you will receive help with a smile.

Our 1 bedroom cabin was really cozy and vintage rustic looking but everything functioned perfectly. There’s a wood burning stove all stocked with wood and a tiny but very functional kitchen with good pots and pans provided. Our cabin was steps away from groomed cross country ski trails and rentals so I could enjoy that when my husband drove over to the downhill skiing a few miles away. Took a Great lesson ! I took the free shuttle to the Village so we could meet for dinner. The desk staff at the lodge were helpful and friendly and called me quickly to let me know we left something behind.

My cozy cottage, which served as my homebase for a week of dayhiking, was a slice of heaven. The tranquility, the views, the proximity to trails (for strolling in addition to trailheads themselves), and the lodge itself, with its lovely lakeview restaurant, offered all I could have wanted for a getaway in the Eastern Sierra. I appreciate that the cottages retain their historic charm and are not homogenized into Marriot-style mediocrity. Bonus: the staff were exceedingly friendly, sweet, and hospitable.

We visited for our anniversary and immediately felt welcomed by Manny at the front desk who made sure our room was ready so we could check in early. Complimentary hot cider while checking in was delightful, our room was perfect, and we enjoyed the cosy vibes of the lodge. In the evening, we wanted to make hot chocolate in our room and the staff at the front desk boiled water for us and provided whipped cream to top it off! What service! We'll definitely be back - perhaps in a cabin next time!
